Staff

Nikole Young

Director of Housing at Heart Rock Recovery Center

My name is Nikole, I am a mother of 3 amazing children and a supportive fiancé. I started my journey in recovery in 2019 and have been working in this field since 2020. I became Director at Heart Rock in January 2021 and that's when my journey finally made sense. I have overcome some of the same struggles that the women currently face. I have a passion to help women come back to life and reunite with their children! It's truly an honor to be a part of this and offer support in difficult times.

Heather Koers

Assistant Director of Heart Rock Recovery Center

Hi! My name is Heather Koers. I am the mother of 2 beautiful boys, 1 cat and 1 dog. I enjoy traveling, yoga, and a really great library. I have spent the past several years serving Women and Children experiencing homelessness, addiction, and brokenness at Wheeler Mission Center for Women and Children. I transitioned to Heart Rock in August; it is truly a blessing to walk alongside these women and children in their journey to a new life.

Amber Grider

Child Advocate at Heart Rock Recovery Center

My name is Amber Grider, I'm the Child Advocate at Heart Rock. I'm also a graduate of Heart Rock! I think that is a huge part of what drives me to do this work. The support I received during my stay and the opportunities I have been given while there and since graduating from Heart Rock have been instrumental in my sons & I life.

Libby Henningsen

Recovery Advocate Specialist at Heart Rock Recovery Center

I have been a Recovery Advocate Specialist at Heart Rock since April 2023. Life has come full circle for me working here. I have two children who I chose to place for adoption due to my alcoholism at a very young age. Over 10 years later, God has made a way for all of the pain I experienced to benefit others. Outside of Heart Rock, I spend a lot of time in a 12-step program. I have been sober since September 7th, 2022 and never would have believed that my life would be where it is today. I hope to continue growing with Heart Rock & Overdose Lifeline and in my own personal and spiritual life.

Diamon Ingram

Recovery Advocate Specialist at Heart Rock Recovery Center

Hi, I'm Diamon Ingram, I am 30 with 4 beautiful children. I resigned from Milwaukee Wisconsin to Indianapolis Indiana. I was accepted into Heart Rock on June 15, 2023 and it's been truly an honor and blessing to be a part of this program. I had no plans on living in Indianapolis until coming to Heart Rock. God had other plans for me. I gave birth to my daughter on November 16, 2023. The support I received from my Heart Rock family was unlike anything else I've experienced. I graduated from the Heart Rock program on December 15 of 2023 and was offered a position at Heart Rock as a Recovery Advocate Specialist. My life has changed and so did I tremendously! If it had not been for the Heart Rock program and the grace for my higher power, I don't know if I would have made it. I am excited for the opportunity to advance my career with Heart Rock. 💜

Peyton Leineweber

Recovery Advocate Specialist at Heart Rock Recovery Center

My name is Peyton, and coming to work at Heart Rock is something I look forward to everyday. I don't know what it's like to be a mother; but I do know what it's like to be a woman in early recovery. I'm also a trauma survivor, so the most empowering part of my healing journey has been sharing with other women who may have had similar experiences. I'm so grateful for Heart Rock, because it feels like home & the women here feel like family.
